Today I went back to where it all started for me. I started working in television in 2005 in Vancouver at a show called 969. It no longer exists, but the team who created this show is all up in the TV business. This morning I was reunited with the first person I ever co-hosted with, Riaz Meghji. He's now the host of Breakfast Television in Vancouver and it was a real full circle moment to be feeding him vegan food from recipes on hot for food. We showcased vegan love on television in Ottawa, Calgary, Lethbridge, and brought it all the way to the west coast. What a huge accomplishment! Plus it's amazing of these stations to start talking about plant based eating.
